Crimson Desert has finally announced its release date at today’s State of Play.
Created by Pearl Abyss, Crimson Desert is an action-adventure set in a medieval fantasy world. Originally a prequel to the MMORPG Black Desert, the game shocked many with its gorgeous graphics and intense gameplay. The title was originally planned to be released this year, but was pushed to Q1 2026. Now, we know when we’ll be able to enter Pywel, and it’s pretty soon.
Crimson Desert Releases on March 19th, 2026, Debuts New Story Trailer
In the trailer, seen above, we get to know protagonist Kliff and see some gameplay of the ambitious title. We see Kliff battle a variety of enemies as he tries to stop the Black Bears group from destroying everything. With engaging battles and breathtaking scenery, it all looks quite polished. Fortunately, at the end of the trailer, the game finally got a release date: March 19th, 2026. Pre-orders for the title are available now for fans to purchase.
Crimson Desert is joining quite a packed month in March 2026. The next day, Housemarque’s Saros releases, with IO Interactive’s 007: First Light coming out the next week. Still, the game has received a lot of praise from previews, especially from us at Insider Gaming. In our preview, we enjoyed the exciting combat and visuals. It’ll be exciting to see how the title shapes up when it releases on March 19th, 2026.
