Krafton has announced that it has purchased studio Eleventh Hour Games, the developers of Last Epoch.
The announcement came via press release on Friday morning.
Krafton says that by buying Eleventh Hour Games, the company “aims to secure a competitive franchise IP in the Action RPG genre and further strengthen its position in the global market.” They continued to say that the deal provides the studio “with the resources and infrastructure to better serve its community, ensuring that Last Epoch continues to evolve and meet the expectations of its growing player base” while also letting Eleventh Hour Games “scale development across console platforms and expand seasonal content pipelines, setting the stage for long-term franchise development.”
Eleventh Hour Games CEO Judd Cobler says that joiniing Krafton is a “dream come true”. He added that Krafton’s passion for action RPGs aligns with their mission as a studio, and is excited to see how the Last Epoch franchise will grow with this new deal.

“[Eleventh Hour Games’] rise from a grassroots studio to a globally renowned ARPG developer is nothing short of remarkable,” Krafton’s head of corporate delevopment Maria Park said. “We believe this acquisition lays the groundwork for diversifying KRAFTON’s genre portfolio and expanding distinctive franchise IPs. This acquisition also reaffirms our unwavering passion for great games and the teams that build them.”
The deal sees Krafton acquire 100% of Eleventh Hour Games’ shares for a total of $96 million.
