Several updates from the developers have mentioned multiplayer features, with one of the biggest being online races against players across the world.

Neverness to Everness also features housing systems with online multiplayer modes, allowing players to visit their friends’ homes and check out their living spaces, similar to the features offered in GTA Online.
Online play could also include specific missions and player-vs-player content, but we’ll have to wait until the game’s launch to find out everything that’s under the hood.
