The list of games leaving PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in May 2026 has been revealed, and the biggest of the lot is Control Ultimate Edition.
Each month, new games are added to subscription services like PS Plus, but some titles are also removed. Earlier this month, it was announced that games like The Crew Motorfest and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered will be added to the PS Plus Game Catalog. Now, we have information about the titles that will be leaving next month.
Control Ultimate Edition and 6 Other Games Are Leaving PS Plus Game Catalog in May

Spotted by PlayStation Lifestyle, the Last Chance to Play section on the PlayStation Store has been updated to reflect 7 new games leaving the PS Plus Game Catalog in May 2026. The highlights from this list include Remedy Entertainment’s Control Ultimate Edition, Moto GP 25, and Sand Land. All seven games will be removed from the collection on May 19, 2026. Check out the complete list of games that are leaving the service below:
- Moto GP 25
- Sand Land
- Soul Hackers 2
- Mortal Shell and Mortal Shell Enhanced Edition
- The Dark Picture Anthology: Little Hope (Both PS4 and PS5 versions)
- Control Ultimate Edition
- The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan
However, players have just under a month to play these games, which is just enough time to get a taste of what the developers have created. Control Ultimate Edition is a critically acclaimed title, and the main story can be beaten in 12-15 hours (20-30 hours including side content). If you are a fan of Akira Toriyama, the late mangaka for Dragon Ball Z, then check out Sand Land, which is a game inspired by one of his other manga. The other titles, like Mortal Shell, are also great shouts.
In other news, PlayStation Plus free monthly games for April 2026 have arrived. Additionally, PlayStation has revealed that players will need to verify their age later this year to continue using communication features.
