The PlayStation Plus monthly game additions for PS Plus Essential members have been officially confirmed.
Thanks to insider reports, players already had an idea about what to expect from PlayStation Plus Essential this month. First, it was revealed that Lords of the Fallen will be the headliner in April, and then the second game for the month was revealed soon after. Now, the official confirmation has arrived through Sony’s announcement.
PS Plus Essential Members Receive 3 Titles for April 2026 Monthly Games
The official blog post is out, confirming PlayStation Plus monthly games for April, which players can begin downloading from April 7, 2026, and add to their library until May 4.
First up is Lords of the Fallen, a soulslike action-RPG by CI Games, set in a medieval dark fantasy world. It’s the perfect time to try out the game, with the sequel, Lords of the Fallen 2, expected to arrive later this year for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Epic Games.
The second title is Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream, a perfect title for anime fans who are looking not only to experience a single-player story mode featuring an original story, but also to enjoy online modes with lobbies of over 20 players across five parties.
Last but not least, by any means, is Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered, which brings the original three adventures together in one package, with all expansions and secret levels for modern platforms. It also features upgraded graphics, with the option to switch to original visuals and a new Challenge mode to “replay levels with customized modifiers and complete achievements to unlock 10 New Outfits that enhance Lara’s abilities.”
In other news, the prices of PlayStation 5, PS5 Pro, and PlayStation Portal devices are about to increase significantly worldwide this month.
