With so many games releasing towards the latter half of the year, you’re going to need to manage your time carefully when deciding which ones to pick up. Thankfully, there are already details available on how long it should take you to beat Control Resonant, one of September’s most anticipated titles.
Following directly from where Control left off, the sequel is set to be bigger and better in practically every way, despite its shift from a shooter to an Action RPG. A bigger scope naturally means more time needed to see the credits roll, so here’s everything you need to know about Control Resonant’s runtime, including how long it should take to 100%.
How Many Hours To Beat Control Resonant?
According to Control Resonant’s lead gameplay designer, Sergey Mohov, it should take you roughly 30 hours to beat the game’s main campaign.
The information comes courtesy of an interview on TechRadar, where Mohov spoke about the game’s overall scope. In it, he revealed that to complete the game’s “core experience,” you’ll need around 30 hours to roll credits.
Considering that, according to How Long To Beat, fans took an average of around 11 hours to complete the original game, Control Resonant is shaping up to be almost three times as long—and that’s without even considering how long it could take to complete everything the game has to offer.
How Long Is A Control Resonant Completionist Run?
According to Mohov, it should take you around 50 hours to complete everything in Control Resonant.
With a host of skills and weapons to unlock, as well as numerous zones in New York City to explore and navigate, it makes sense that there’s plenty of content to engage with aside from the game’s main quest line.
Of course, you don’t need to engage with everything the game has to offer, but for those who like to get their money’s worth, it seems like you should be able to sink tens of hours into Control Resonant and still find more things to do.
