Battlefield 6 Will be Revealed on July 29th During a 3-Day Event, It’s Claimed

A new rumor suggests that Battlefield 6 will be revealed during a 3-day EA event starting July 29th.

That’s according to RivaLxfactor on X, who claims to have confirmed that EA will host a 3-day event starting July 29th.

Its said that the event will see Battlefield 6 be revealed, with developer interviews, gameplay from creators, and more. RivalxFactor also claims that a Battlefield 6 Open Beta will be available soon after the event.

It’s worth noting that the event is referred to as an ‘EV Event’ and not a ‘Battlefield event’, which could suggest that multiple games will be revealed, somewhat akin to previous EA Plays that took place during the E3 period. But at the moment, that’s nothing but speculation.

The news comes following last night’s leak of a promotional care package sent to a creator, which revealed that the game will be called Battlefield 6.

The promotional case also had several straps around it with three gamemodes displayed, ‘Conquest’, ‘Rush’, and ‘Breakthrough’, in addition to ‘PTFO’, which is an abbreviation of ‘Play The F**king Objective’.

As for when EA and Dice will announce the event, it is unclear, but it is possible that the promotional packages sent to creators contain some merchandise and likely a ceremonial invitation to the event to drum up hype.

It’s currently unknown exactly what will be revealed at the event, but it’s likely to feature a range of multiplayer gameplay, while its free-to-play Battle Royale mode is expected to be shown at a later date.

It’s expected that Battlefield 6 will launch on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC sometime later this year.
