XBOX‘s 25th anniversary edition console was revealed during Summer Game Fest week, and people were already frantically looking for how to buy the exclusive console and its retro design. It’s still an XBOX Series X|S, at the end of the day, but it’s a good-looking one.

When is XBOX X25 Console Coming Out? Release Date, Explained
The X25 XBOX console is due to launch on November 27, 2026.
Just in time for Grand Theft Auto 6! But yes, the X25 will make a great end-of-year buy, or a fabulous Christmas present, if you’re lucky enough to buy one. November is usually console release season; even though this isn’t technically a new console, you get what I mean.
How to Buy X25 XBOX Console—Pre-Order Details
The X25 seems to be sold out everywhere across the US and UK, meaning the only way to buy an XBOX X25 console right now is on the secondary market.
Again, XBOX’s limited-edition console is every bit that. It’s unclear when pre-order stock started getting low, but if you check Stock Checker, then it’s showing as ‘Out of Stock’ across all major retailers: Amazon, Best Buy, and the Microsoft Store in the US. When I last checked, it did say GameStop had them in stock, but if you click on the link to the retailer, it says ‘Not Available’ on the site.

You’re out of luck in the UK as well. Amazon, Argos, Smyths, EE, the Microsoft Store, and anywhere else: It’s out of stock.
The only way you’re going to get close to an X25 right now is eBay, or another secondary seller (but I would be very careful, considering it will cost over $1,000 or £1,000!
How Much is X25 XBOX Console Anniversary Edition?
The RRP for the XBOX Series X25 Limited Edition is $899.99 or £759.99.
It’s another couple of hundred dollars or pounds extra compared to the normal model. It doesn’t do anything the base X doesn’t do already, and it is just a cosmetic overhaul. This is intended for the biggest collectors or XBOX fans.
How to Buy X25 Controller—Price Guide
Unlike the console, you can still buy the X25 controller almost everywhere, and it costs $79.99 or £74.99.
It’s pretty much the complete opposite with the X25 controller: It’s not out of stock everywhere and won’t cost a bomb—although it is still pricey just for a controller.
