Marvel Rivals continues to roll out new content, and we’re officially at the halfway point of Season 10, with Season 10.5 on the horizon. To mark the occasion, servers are being shut down on October 9, as updates roll out across the board.
Season 10 sounds big in retrospect, but it’s been a bit of a quieter period for Marvel Rivals, especially when compared to the sweeping changes that Season 9 made to the likes of Team-Ups and health regen. That said, NetEase has a lot planned for the next five weeks, and there’s a ton worth tuning in for.
If you’re desperate to get back into Marvel Rivals, here’s when the servers are down and when you can expect them to return.
When Will Marvel Rivals Servers Be Back Up?

Marvel Rivals servers are shutting down on October 9 at 2 AM PT, and they’re expected to be out for around two hours.
That means you can expect the servers to spring back to life and for Season 10.5 to begin at roughly 4 AM PT, though NetEase has made it abundantly clear that server return times can vary based on maintenance progress, so don’t take this as gospel.
That said, it’s been a pretty reliable process in the past, so barring an unusual outcome, you should only need to be away from Marvel Rivals for roughly two hours.
If you’re not from the West Coast and want to know how the maintenance impacts you, you’re in luck, as we’ve broken down the timings for a variety of different time zones, as seen in the table below:

What’s In The Marvel Rivals October 9 Update?

There’s plenty to unpack from the October 9 update, as it marks the start of Season 10.5 in Marvel Rivals.
Set to last for five weeks, there’s not a new character for the first time since the game released, but that was so that NetEase could focus purely on completing the Path to Doomsday, and the team has stayed true to their word.
October 9 sees the start of the PvP Infinity War event, where you’ll face off in pairs against other duos until one team is crowned the victor. Then, on October 23, it’s time for Endgame, where a 50-player PvE game mode springs to life, pitting players against the Mad Titan, Thanos, and his overwhelming army.
Of course, expect tons of events and cosmetics throughout the next month, as Marvel Rivals celebrates the spooky season of Halloween. Tons of cool new skins are coming, and the events are shaping up to be unique experiences of their own.
