Virgin Media O2, one of the biggest mobile network, broadband, and broadcast providers in the United Kingdom, has revealed a new GTA 6 pre-order deal for both customers and non-customers. Put simply, the deal lets you pre-order Grand Theft Auto 6 with a £20 upfront payment, then you’ll pay just £1.39 a month thereafter until your copy is fully paid off.
That means you’re paying just 5 pence per day. But it also means that you’re locked into paying off your copy of GTA 6 for 36 months. It’s a 0% APR deal, so there’s no interest to pay, and it’s arguably the most affordable way to get your copy of GTA 6, but it’s a bit overkill for a single game, no?
Pre-Order GTA 6 and Pay Monthly For Three Years
Every man and his dog is trying to get a piece of the Grand Theft Auto 6 pie, and that includes Virgin Media O2 in the United Kingdom.
Right now, you can pre-order GTA 6 with Virgin Media O2, whether you’re a customer or not, for a single payment of £20. From there, you’ll pay £1.39 a month for 36 months, which is a bargain, right? If you can’t afford the £70 required to get GTA 6 at launch, you can break down your purchase into low monthly instalments.
It’s not the only way to pay monthly for GTA 6, of course. Plenty of retailers use buy-now-pay-later services like Klarna, especially in the United Kingdom.
The team at Virgin Media O2 wrote:
Whether players are counting down the days until they return to Vice City, planning launch-day gaming sessions with friends, or simply looking to be part of gaming’s biggest cultural moment, O2 is making it easier than ever to get launch-ready, without the large upfront expense.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t scope out the full terms and conditions of the deal as the website was experiencing heavy traffic when I was writing this piece, suggesting that the deal is already seeing a huge spike in popularity.
