Qloud Games has announced that Loftia, the studio’s debut cozy life-sim title, will enter early access on PC on November 3rd. This news came alongside a new trailer showcasing the adorable excitement at the centre of this solarpunk MMO, which encourages players to work together to better the world around them.
It has a focus on non-combat gameplay, and instead, the entertainment value comes from building and customizing homes, exploring a large world, running farm systems, and embarking on cooperative adventures.
Loftia Comes to PC Soon
In a statement, the co-founder at Qloud Games, Michael Su, said:
Loftia started as a small dream. We wanted a relaxing online world we could escape to with our friends – a third space with a welcoming community, things to do, and a home we could keep on coming back to.
What we never expected was how many people around the world were looking for the same thing. Loftia has grown alongside our community from the very beginning, and reaching Early Access feels like the culmination of a four-year marathon, and the beginning of a new chapter.
Loftia started life as a crowdfunded dream, raising $1.3 million from more than 17,000 backers, and it has been in development for four years. Early testing phases produced a strong positive sentiment from the community, and now the team is preparing for an early access launch.
In Loftia, players take advantage of systems designed to promote shared progress and collaborative gameplay. Instead of fostering competition, which is typical for an MMO setting, Loftia allows users to live alongside one another, embarking on community-wide projects, building a thriving ecosystem backed by renewable energy, hydroponics, and sustainable farming.

Qloud has confirmed that Loftia will hit early access at a price point of $29.99, but during the launch period, it’ll have an introductory discount on most platforms, dropping the price to $24.89.
