Ubisoft has released an update on the future of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, and it seems the next major update for Codename Hexe will arrive in 2027.
For those unaware, Ubisoft announced changes to the Assassin’s Creed leadership team earlier this year, and the team has since shared thoughts on how they work with the community, their current game updates, and games in development, including updates on Codename Hexe, Invictus, and remakes of the franchise.
Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe Next Major Update Coming in 2027
A new blog post reveals that more information on Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe arrives in 2027. The developers reveals that they have been making “steady progress” on this darker experience in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, but there is still a lot left to do for them. The devs didn’t provide any concrete information to the players in this post, but there were some cryptic codes that you can check out below:

Regarding the current games, players have already been informed about Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced’s final major content update, which adds New Game+, a new Nightmare Difficulty, new takedown animations, and much more to the game. Interestingly, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has just surpassed a new milestone of 40 million players, and to celebrate, the game will also receive a New Game+ mode 6 years after release.
