Capcom has been dropping hints about forthcoming Resident Evil Requiem DLC for a while. In the blink of an eye, the developer shadow dropped the first DLC for the game, and it’s free for Requiem owners.
Recently, the Resident Evil Requiem devs gave a first update on story DLC, albeit a minor one. If you’re growing impatient, then you can play the new DLC to tide you over until then.
Resident Evil Requiem’s Leon Must Die DLC is Out Now

Resident Evil Requiem’s producer was teasing that a mini-game arrival was imminent.
Which is why anyone snooping on X for clues recently might have been happy to see a new message pop up on the official Resident Evil page. It included a 35-second trailer for the new ‘Leon Must Die’ DLC, so there’s no waiting around.
Check out Capcom’s bio for the update:
‘Leon Must Die Forever is out now as a free update to Resident Evil Requiem! In this new minigame mode unlocked by completing the main story, clear numerous stages while using randomized enhancer abilities as you race against the clock. Will you be able to make it to the end?’
It’s very much a free roguelite/rogulike mode with damage numbers, color-coordinated enemies, a timer, and the Resi 9 experience ramped up to 100!
