Dataminer and leaker billbil-kun has revealed that the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty expansion will be announced at today’s Xbox Showcase and will cost $29.99.
Taking to Twitter, the serial leaker said that pre-orders will be open today, with the pre-order bonus being an in-game muscle car.
This information corroborates what Insider Gaming has heard from its media sources, who recently got a preview of the game in LA.
The edition will cost €29,99 / $29.99 / £24.99.
The news follows an earlier listing this week from GOG, which listed the Phantom Liberty DLC at cost 29.99 euros. Originally, we assumed this would be around $35, but the conversations according to the leaks don’t work out like that.
Unfortunately, though, the leaked listing did not contain any details on what the expansion entails, or when it will release. CD Projekt Red will be at today’s Summer Game Fest though, and it’s widely believed that the DLC will make an appearance.
Previous rumors have suggested the Phantom Liberty DLC could be released as soon as August 2023. In terms of what platforms the upcoming Cyberpunk expansion will release on, CD Projekt Red is only planning for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X versions.
Earlier this week, new details on the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel, codenamed Orion were released. Per the report, it will be developed in the United States with a team of “350-500 developers” while the Polish team will assist in some areas.
