When is the Xbox Games Showcase? Time, Date, And What to Expect

The Xbox Games Showcase is just a few days away at the time of writing and is arguably one of the most anticipated showcases of the year. But when is the Xbox Showcase and what can you expect?

Xbox Showcase Time and Date

The Xbox Games Showcase will officially start on June 11 at the following times:

  • 1 PM ET
  • 10 AM PT
  • 5 PM UTC
  • 7 PM CET
  • 6 PM BST
  • 10 AM AET (June 12)

You can watch the Xbox Games Showcase on the official Xbox platforms including on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook.

Immediately following the main Xbox Showcase, Starfield will be getting its own dedicated livestream, so once the show has ended, stick around if you want a deep-dive into what Bethesda has to offer with its next game.

What to Expect From the Xbox Showcase

Admittingly, not a lot of official details have been given as to what to expect from the event. However, Xbox does have a huge lineup in development and it’s expected that we’ll see a lot of the games that were announced a couple of years ago.

What’s interesting about this year’s showcase is that VP of Xbox Games Marketing at Microsoft, Aaron Greenberg, has already announced pre-show that everything featured in the Showcase (from a first-party perspective) will be made up entirely of ‘either in-game footage, in-engine footage, or in-game footage with some cinematics.’

In this case, games like Elder Scrolls 6, the upcoming Indiana Jones game, and a new mainline Halo game are unlikely to be shown.

Here’s a list of the games that have previously been announced that we could expect to see:

  • Fable
  • Avowed
  • EverWild
  • The Outer Worlds 2
  • Contraband
  • Forza Motorsport

As to be expected with the showcase, we also expect some first looks at some awesome indie games.
