Peak Console Release Date Revealed for PS5, XBOX and Switch 2

Aggro Crab and Landfall finally announced the release date for the Peak console edition, arriving on PS5, XBOX Series X/S, and Switch 2 on October 22, and there’s a physical version too.

Peak is one of Steam’s breakout co-op games in 2026, and since its release, players have eagerly awaited a console version of this co-op climbing game. Recently, the game was rated for PlayStation 5, which led fans to speculate that a release date announcement might be imminent. It turns out the speculation was correct.

Peak Console Edition Brings Crossplay and All Content Updates to PS5, XBOX and Switch 2

A new post on Aggro Crab’s official X account (formerly Twitter) reveals the release date for Peak Console Edition. The developers have confirmed that the PS5, XBOX Series X/S, and Switch 2 versions will receive crossplay along with all the content updates, including Gloom, Mesa, Roots, and more. What’s more, the game is also getting a physical edition, which not only includes a disc but also an extra game code and a Passport kit.

For those unaware, Peak is a title that has players climbing to the top, with 4 varying biomes with a variety of different life-threatening obstacles. The journey is indeed the most difficult part, with players needing to scavenge for resources and also survive and maintain their injuries, stamina, and health. Every biome has its own hazards, from tornadoes to poison clouds, zombies, and more, so the game doesn’t make this journey any easier.
