It seems as though players were excited about the launch of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. According to the latest data from Circana, Oblivion Remastered has soared up the sales charts in a short amount of time.
“After just one week in market Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion: Remastered is already the 3rd best-selling game of 2025 in the US ($ sales) trailing only Monster Hunter: Wilds and Assassin’s Creed: Shadows,” Circana’s Mat Piscatella said regarding data for the week ending April 26. “It was the best-selling game of the week.”

It shouldn’t be too surprising to see the Oblivion remaster be near the top of the charts. Since releasing on April 22, Bethesda has announced that the game has had over 4 million players. While that doesn’t break down sales against Xbox Game Pass users, it’s still a reliable barometer for where things stand.
Full April sales numbers (April 6-May 3) are expected to be released on May 21, and it should give a better idea of how sales are shaking up for the remaster. May’s numbers from May 4-May 31 will be available on June 18.
