Naughty Dog studio head Neil Druckmann revealed that a second game, alongside Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, is in development.
After co-creating The Last of Us, Druckmann wrote and produced the critically acclaimed television adaptation. In addition to his work on television, Naughty Dog is working on its next title, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
Naughty Dog has done everything it can to avoid leaks about the game, and that’s not the only project being kept under wraps.
Second Naughty Dog Title in Development

On the Press X To Continue podcast, Druckmann revealed, “There is another game at Naughty Dog being worked on, and I am more of a producer role and get to mentor and watch this other team, give feedback, and be like the executive in the room.”
News about a new game first surfaced in March, as a leak revealed that an unannounced game had been in development for three years.
It reportedly won’t be The Last of Us 3, but rumors suggest that Shaun Escayg, who worked on The Last of Us and Uncharted, will direct it.
The last major Uncharted game was Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, released in 2016. A year later, The Lost Legacy launched as a standalone DLC, for which Escayg was the creative director and writer.
It’s not confirmed that the unannounced game will be an Uncharted entry, but there were rumours regarding a game starring Cassie Drake, Nathan Drake’s daughter in the series.
In other gaming news, Nintendo renewed two Metroid trademarks, new leaks reveal that wall running is returning in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and Doom: The Dark Ages’ steam player count is the lowest of the reboot trilogy.
