A new entry in the Call of Duty franchise has arrived, and while the wait for the full launch will take a while longer, players can dive into DMZ in Modern Warfare 4 in an early access period.
Modern Warfare 4 has proven to be a hit with critics, with the campaign crafted by Infinity Ward garnering a positive reception, and all eyes are now cast on whether the feel-good factor extends across all modes.
If you’re itching to dive into DMZ as soon as possible, Insider Gaming has the details on exactly when the doors open.
When is MW4 DMZ Early Access?

Early access for DMZ in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 kicks off on October 20, three days before the full launch of the title on October 23.
Modern Warfare 4’s early access period began with Campaign on October 16, a week before the full release, and DMZ is now set to follow, giving players another opportunity to jump into the game.
Additionally, early access is available for all players who have pre-ordered MW4’s standard edition, so you don’t need to splash out on a higher-tier option to get the opportunity to dive into the game.
DMZ’s early access brings down the curtain for the second of MW4’s major modes, with the last, multiplayer, opening on the full launch.
What Time Does MW4 DMZ Early Access Start?
Early access to DMZ in Modern Warfare 4 is confirmed by Infinity Ward to kick off at 10 AM PT/6 PM BST on Tuesday, October 20.
The launch is a global release, with the doors opening for all players at precisely the same moment, rather than the staggered launch that many titles have.
This means that the timings depend on your region in the world, with some gaining access in the morning, while others will have to wait for a very late night, potentially even in the early hours of October 21.
