Booting up WARDOGS for the first time greets you with a full-on ‘Tutorial’ option. There’s no option for regular matchmaking, and sometimes you just want to skip the tutorial and play, as is the case for many in WARDOGS.
WARDOGS was a long-time coming, and BULKHEAD has done a great job maintaining the shooter since launch. It’s a game by FPS fans for FPS fans. If you’re playing it for the first time, you might notice that you have to play a tutorial first before you can hop into a public match…or do you?
Do I Have to do the Tutorial in WARDOGS?

You don’t have to do the tutorial in WARDOGS, as there is an easy option to back out once it begins.
So, you do have to press the ‘Play Tutorial’ option the menu first presents. To be honest, it’s highly recommended, as it runs through all the bespoke game mechanics and explains how the rules and money-making aspects work.

- Gain control of your character.
- Once you do, pause the game.
- Wait for the Leave Match timer to count down to zero.
- When it does, click on it and confirm you want to leave.

This means you can queue up for a lobby. Also, if you feel you need to get some practice in, you can always head over to the Firing Range to sharpen your skills and test out new gear.
