New ‘Havoc’ Mode In Modern Warfare 2 Makes You a Super Soldier

A new Havoc mode has been added to the Modern Warfare 2 files which will add new perks known as “incrementing gameplay modifiers” throughout the game, turning players essentially into super-solders.

Insider Gaming understands that the information and footage was uploaded to a private telegram channel, but then re-uploaded to Twitter via @BobNetworkUK.

You can see the footage below:

Essentially, the new gamemode called ‘Havoc’ will give players up to five different modifiers throughout the game. In the footage leaked, we see the following modifers:

  • Perspective Shift – Changes your characters view to third-person
  • Hero Landing – Creates an explosion from an elevated position
  • Ammo Feeder – Auto Reload on kills
  • Eyes On – Advanced UAV always active
  • Boots of the Ground – Unknown (but appears to be anti-gravity)

Although the files were recently added to Modern Warfare 2, Activision has yet to officially announce the mode. It’s possible that the mode could even come to this year’s title, Modern Warfare 3.

As pointed out by some of our followers on Twitter though, it’s possible that the mode could be a part of the upcoming The Boys collaberation.

Whatever the case may be, it’s hard to not say the mode looks a lot of fun from the brief leaked footage.

What do you think of the new Havoc gamemode? Let us know in the comments below.
