Deep in the heart of Fallen Village, an eerie side quest awaits: Lullaby. It begins hauntingly, with a ghostly baby cry, and ends with success as you calm the baby and earn yourself a reward for completing it.
You can’t be all about the action in Valor Mortis. You need moments of respite, exploration, and discovery. This is why the souls title has various side quests for you to indulge in, and these escapes, such as Lullaby, offer nice bonuses and lore insights for doing so.
Lullaby Side Quest Walkthrough in Valor Mortis
You must start the quest, take the found key, open the Weathered Door, grab the Toy, and put it in the crying baby’s crib to earn a new Amber in Valor Mortis.

Here’s the complete walkthrough telling you what to do:
- Activate the Marketplace Lantern in Fallen Village.
- Go into the nearby house left of the blue grapple jump.
- Head past the empty, crying crib and into the next room through the open doorway.
- The quest officially begins.
- Head into the garden and kill the three enemies.
- Pick up the Weathered Key.
- Backtrack to the location in Screenshot 1 above.
- Make your way inside and obtain the Toy.
- It’s time to go all the way back to the crib.
- Interact with it to place the Toy.
- The quest will be completed, and you earn the Tomorrow’s Promise Amber.
Here’s what Tomorrow’s Promise does to William:
‘The Ferrofluid Flask grants Health renegeration over time.
Activating a second flask while the effectis active will not stack the duration, but will reset the timer back to its intial value.’
Weathered Key Location in Valor Mortis
The Weathered Key is located in the garden of the ‘Lullaby’ quest house, found in Fallen Village.
Again, follow our walkthrough, and you’ll have the key, the quest, and the Tomorrow’s Promise Amber all ticked off and completed. It’s not one of the quests required to complete the trophy list, but it’s worth it for the Amber.
