Explore a 3D-pixelated suburban neighbourhood 20 years after the zombie apocalypse in Long Gone, which is set to arrive in 2027.
The official news comes from the Triple I Initiative 2026, with the gaming showcase’s third iteration featuring 40 games, with eight exclusive world premieres.

Long Gone Reveals Platforming Details
Long Gone meshes a bunch of genres together to create what looks to be a unique experience. At its core, you’ll be exploring an overgrown, suburban neighbourhood 20 years after a zombie outbreak took place. Your goal is to piece together the forgotten history and uncover the secrets of the townsfolk who are long gone—queue title card.
Of course, it won’t be so simple, what with the hordes of zombies roaming the area. And they’re not the slow, ambling kind, either; they’ll be chasing you down through the cluttered streets, but thanks to the new trailer, it’s clear you’ll be able to evade them with some clever moves of your own.
It’s nothing extravagant like Dying Light might offer, but vaulting cars and bannisters, whilst jumping across decrepit bridges, should prove just enough to evade the clutches of the hordes on your trail. Oh, and you’ll be accompanied by an adorable, pixelated cat, so keep them safe at all costs.
The release window is still a ways away, with 2027 being the only indication, but it’s certainly shaping up to be a title to keep an eye out for.
