One More Level has announced during the Triple I Initiative showcase that it will be releasing its game ‘Valor Mortis’ in Fall 2026.

The official game description reads, “Valor Mortis is a first-person action soulslike set in a supernatural retelling of the Napoleonic Wars. This trailer reveals a new weapon, new environments, a new boss, and parkour mechanics that harken back to One More Level’s previous Ghostrunner titles. For the first time, Lyrical Games is announcing that Valor Mortis will launch on PC and consoles this Fall.”

In our hands-on preview of Valor Mortis, Senior Editor Andrew Highton said, “One hour with Valor Mortis felt like seconds. As a huge Soulslike fan, this is the type of game I’ve been craving. If the tight-knit world-building and slick gameplay of Ghostrunner transfer over to Valor Mortis, this might be a sleeper GOTY contender.”
Highton dubbed the game “the most promising soulslike in years”.
