Auroch Digital has announced that Warhammer Survivors is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch (1 and 2), and Steam later this year.
Talking about Warhammer, Space Marine 2 received its Techmarine Update this February with patch 12.0. The developers have just announced that the game is coming to consoles alongside its PC release.
Warhammer Survivors Devs Announce PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch Release
Console players do not need to worry, as Auroch Digital has revealed at the latest Triple-i Initiative showcase that Warhammer Survivors is coming to consoles like PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch (1 and 2), alongside Steam later this year. However, no release date was provided. What’s more, the developers are also introducing new playable characters, weapons, and a new enemy faction called the Orks, which you can check out in the trailer below:
In Warhammer Survivors, players can engage in battles against hordes of enemies inspired by various Warhammer factions. You have the option to choose champions from both the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar universes. This includes characters such as the Space Marine Sternguard Veteran, Malum Caedo, and the lightning-forged Stormcast Neave Blacktalon, among many others.
Players will have the opportunity to wield iconic weapons from these universes, including the Boltgun, Astartes Chainsword, Whirlwind Axes, Nuln Oil, and more. These weapons can be used against various enemies in settings such as the ashen plains of Aqshy or the abandoned Space Hulk. Each stage also features unique secrets to discover and power-ups to collect.
