STARSEEKER: Astroneer Expeditions, a new game based in the Astroneer universe, will be available to try out in an upcoming open beta release later this month.
The title, focused on discovery, cooperative expedition, and camaraderie, is set for release later this year, and the open beta will provide many players with the first opportunity to enjoy the title.
STARSEEKER: Astroneer Expeditions Open Beta Releases in April
The open beta was announced during the Triple I Initiative showcase, alongside the new ‘Wildlife of Tephra’ trailer that showed off some of the more unusual creatures players will encounter.
Players will need to analyse, avoid, or pacify these weird creatures during their adventure, alongside accomplishing dynamic objectives and bringing resources back to their space station to complete the STARSEEKER community’s overall goals.

Players can now sign up for the open beta at starseekergame.com, which will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
A full release date for the title has yet to be revealed, but is slated to drop before the end of the calendar year, building off the success of a decade of Astroneer.
