Riot Games has confirmed that K/DA and True Damage will perform at the League of Legends World Championship (LoL Worlds) final.
Both virtual bands, consisting of in-game champions and real-life musicians, made their long-awaited returns this year.
K/DA just released a four-song EP titled Firestarter, while True Damage recorded this year’s Worlds anthem Know My Name.
The two groups will perform live during the opening ceremony of the Worlds 2026 final at the Barclays Centre in New York.
LoL Worlds 2026 Grand Final Opening Ceremony
This will be a second Worlds appearance for True Damage and a third for K/DA.
True Damage performed the hip-hop group’s first single, Giants, during the final of Worlds 2019 in Paris.
K/DA performed at Worlds 2018 and 2020, with virtual Augmented Reality versions of the champions appearing on-screen during the first.
However, both bands will feature new line-ups at the Barclays Centre in New York.
True Damage has brought in Coco Jones (Senna), Vic Mensa (Ekko), and Sofía Reyes (Qiyana).
Meanwhile, K/DA has replaced Madison Beer with Sophie Powers (Evelynn) and Jaida Burns with Mimi Webb (Kai’Sa).
Yet, Soyeon from K-pop group i-dle, is an original and current member of both bands and will probably have to perform double duty.
In recent years, the LoL Worlds final opening ceremonies have featured three different acts.
Riot also brought another virtual LoL band back this year in HEARTSTEEL, though they weren’t included in the graphic Riot posted.
