K/DA Is Releasing a New Four-Song EP With New Lineup

K/DA, the virtual K-pop girl group made up of League of Legends‘ champions, is releasing even more new music.

K/DA returned after a four-year hiatus with its new song Firestarter and a music video animated by Arcane creators Fortiche.

Now, the group created by Riot Games is releasing a full EP with four songs in total, including the Firestarter single.

Here is everything we know about K/DA’s latest 2026 release.

Who Is In the New K/DA Lineup?

From its debut with ‘Pop/Stars’ in 2019 through until its last EP ‘All Out’, K/DA had kept the same lineup of musicians.

However, now only half of the original members remain, as Riot has brought in two new artists for K/DA’s 2026 releases.

Miyeon and Soyeon from hugely popular K-pop group ‘i-dle’ have returned to continue their roles in K/DA as Ahri and Akali.

Soyeon also reprised her role as Akali for the new LoL Worlds Anthem by True Damage, ‘Know My Name’.

Meanwhile, Jaida Burns has been replaced by BRIT Award-nominated English singer and songwriter Mimi Webb as the voice of Kai’Sa.

And 22-year-old Canadian Sophie Powers is the new voice of Evelynn, controversially replacing Madison Beer.

Following a tirade of angry Madison Beer fans, Powers took to Twitter to ask that people “please be kind on the internet.”

She then shared pictures of herself cosplaying as LoL character Jinx and attending a concert of her new bandmates from i-dle to share her excitement for joining K/DA.

New K/DA Firestarter EP

Riot Games has now revealed a full track list for K/DA’s upcoming four-song EP, which includes the new single Firestarter.

Firestarter is the only one of the four songs which includes K/DA’s new four-person lineup.

Meanwhile, one song sees the return of virtual LoL artist DJ Sona, a version of the champion created for the 3250 RP (~$25) Ultimate Skin released back in 2015.

This means that all of Riot’s virtual music acts have returned this season, including Pentakill, HEARTSTEEL, and True Damage.

The full tracklist for the K/DA Firestarter EP is:

  • Firestarter
    • Ft. Miyeon and Soyeon of i-dle, Sophie Powers, Mimi Webb
  • Watch Me
    • Ft. Sophie Powers, Mimi Webb
  • Never Going Back
    • Ft. Miyeon and Soyeon of i-dle
  • Girls (w/ DJ Sona)
    • Ft. Sophie Powers, Sorana, Royal & The Serpent

Sorana is a Romanian singer with around 900k Spotify monthly listeners, while Royal & The Serpent is an American singer with 2.2 million monthly listeners.

When Does the K/DA Firestarter EP Release?

While K/DA’s Firestarter music video was released early due to leaks, Riot has confirmed the EP is still set for its original release date.

The Firestarter EP will release on October 21 at 6:00 PM PT/9:00 PM EDT. This is 3:00 AM CEST/2:00 AM BST on October 22 for those in Europe.
