New K/DA Firestarter League of Legends Skins Revealed

Riot Games has revealed the splash arts for the new K/DA Firestarter League of Legends skins.

The popular virtual K-pop group just returned after a six-year hiatus with the new single Firestarter and four-song EP.

All four members Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai’Sa will receive new skins based on the Fortiche animated music video.

Plus, Evelynn is getting a second skin called K/DA Hitmaker, while Akali’s Firestarter skin is also a Mythic.

When Will the New K/DA Firestarter Skins Release?

K/DA Firestarter wasn’t supposed to release until October 20, but Riot posted the music video two days early due to fears of leaks.

Now, Riot has revealed that the accompanying skins will release with LoL Patch 26.22, launching Wednesday, November 4.

However, the skins will be playable two weeks earlier on the Public Beta Environment (PBE) with the launch of Patch 26.21 on October 21.

Firestarter Ahri, Evelynn, and Kai’Sa

Ahri, Evelynn and Kai’Sa are all getting base skins for this Firestarter set.

Both the Ahri and Kai’Sa skins will be Epic, therefore costing 1350 RP (~$10).

Meanwhile, Firestarter Evelynn will be a legendary skin that costs 1820 RP (~$15) with additional voice lines and animations.

Akali won’t receive a base skin in this drop as she already received one recently as part of the new True Damage LoL skins.

Firestarter Akali (Mythic)

As a result, Akali is getting an especially premium K/DA skin.

The skin is Mythic, meaning it cannot be purchased directly through the store.

Instead, players will have to gamble in LoL’s gacha system, The Sanctum, which costs 400 RP (~$5) per spin.

The skin will be guaranteed after a maximum of 40 pulls, so 16,000 RP (~$120) in total.

K/DA Hitmaker Evelynn (Mythic)

Similarly, Evelynn’s second new K/DA skin will also be a Mythic and unavailable to directly purchase.

Instead, it will also be available in The Sanctum for a maximum of 40 pulls at 16,000 RP (~$120).

So if you want both K/DA Mythic skins, you may have to fork out 32,000 RP (~$245) in total.

As a double Mythic patch, The Sanctum will have separate banners so players can choose which prize they want to pull for.

However, pulling for Hitmaker Evelynn won’t award any progress towards Firestarter Akali and vice versa.
