Who Are the Artists Behind True Damage’s Worlds Anthem Know My Name?

This year’s League of Legends World Championship anthem is finally out with “Know My Name” by True Damage.

Virtual band True Damage are back with new LoL skins and a brand new lineup of musicians after the group’s 2019 debut song, GIANTS.

Riot opted for one of LoL’s own bands due to the game’s current music-themed season, rather than once again enlisting a mainstream group like Linkin Park or Imagine Dragons.

Now, a new version of True Damage has been unveiled, seeing the departures of Duckwrth and Thutmose, Becky G, and multi-time Emmy Award winner Keke Palmer.

New True Damage Line-Up

Just one member of the original True Damage line-up remains in Soyeon from the K-pop group i-dle.

She voices Akali in both True Damage as well as the soon-returning K/DA with her bandmate Miyeon, who plays Ahri.

Recently, i-dle was ranked No. 1 in the Girl Group category of the TOP K-ARTISTS poll hosted by Tencent Music, Billboard China, and
Billboard Korea.

And while Keke Palmer has exploded in popularity since her stint with True Damage, Riot has found an equally impressive replacement.

The new voice of Senna is Grammy-winning R&B singer Coco Jones, who received the Best R&B Performance award for her 2024 single “ICU”.

The award-winning single has over 107 million plays on Spotify at the time of writing.

Meanwhile, Ekko’s part in Know My Name was performed by another Grammy-nominated artist in Vic Mensa.

Mensa is a musician, actor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He appeared in Peacock’s Fresh Prince reboot, Bel-Air, which starred his new True Damage bandmate Coco Jones.

And finally, the new voice of Qiyana is award-winning singer and songwriter Sofía Reyes, who has garnered over 2 billion global streams and nearly 1 billion views on YouTube.

Her hit single “1, 2, 3”, a collaboration with Jason Derulo and De La Ghetto, has amassed over 900 million views on YouTube and 728 million on Spotify.
