Is Wildcard on PlayStation or Xbox? All Platforms & Consoles Explained

The Wildcard Alliance has brought its new card-collecting game to the world. It’s a seldom-seen concept, and its Champions are numerous, and we’re here to see if you can play Wildcard on PlayStation or Xbox platforms or consoles.

Wildcard has gone down the route that many titles do now—playtesting on Steam. PC is cheaper to develop for, accessible, and it’s easy to make changes as you go. There’s a feeling that once a game’s on console, it needs to be ready. Wildcard has a lot going on during matches with Champions, special abilities going off, and the game-ending keeper mechanic in effect.

We already know when Wildcard is coming out, and the specifications you need on PC to play it, but let’s see if PlayStation and Xbox players miss out altogether.

Right now, you can’t play Wildcard on PlayStation 5, and this also goes for PS4 users.

Wildcard won’t be arriving on PlayStation 5 anytime soon. All the trailers, prerelease material, and general chatter haven’t suggested a PS5 port is on the collection cards. Does this mean it won’t ever happen? No, you just find testing happens more regularly on PC and Steam.

Right now, Wildcard is strictly in an Alpha Playtesting phase. We’re not even at the beta stage yet. Maybe once it gets to beta testing, we will get a cross-platform open beta, including PlayStation users, opening up the pool to more players.

Can You Play Wildcard on Xbox Series X|S Platforms?

Wildcard is also not playable on Microsoft’s Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One consoles.

I’ll reiterate everything we’ve covered so far: Wildcard is on PC and Steam for now. It may get a multiplatform release in the future, but for now, you can’t play Wildcard anywhere other than PC—unless The Wildcard Alliance throws a wildcard into the mix.

If this happens, we’ll update you with the newest happenings and Wildcard platform updates.
