Developer The Wildcard Alliance is looking to dominate the 2v2 card-collecting genre—this might be easy, as there aren’t many about. Wildcard is described as a CCAG (card-collecting action game), and the furious gameplay means system requirements on PC could be an issue.
Wildcard is very unique, and this is a huge plus the game has going for it. Real-time card-based multiplayer action is rare. I can think of FragPunk as a recent example of this, sure. But when you throw in Champions, Summons, and the bold choice to make it 2v2, Wildcard could be a literal wildcard in the pack.
The game’s alpha testing shows how visually impressive the arena action is. Let’s show you what you need if you’re worried about system requirements.
Wildcard Minimum & Recommended Requirements on PC

It’s a different set of system requirements compared to normal, as Wildcard currently has one set of system requirements—which automatically makes them the minimum and recommended PC specs.
Games usually have bare minimum criteria to even play the title. Then you have the recommended specs to ensure the game runs smoothly and looks pretty while doing so. Big-budget AAA games tend to go one step further and have the ‘best’ settings, but this is for highly optimized rigs with state-of-the-art hardware.
For now, you only have to worry about one uniform set of system requirements for Wildcard, so let’s go through them.
| Wildcard Minimum & Recommended Requirements | Wildcard Minimum & Recommended PC Specs |
|---|---|
| Operating Software | Windows 10 / 11 (Not compatible on Mac) |
| CPU | i5 or equivalent / or better |
| GPU | 1080 GTX or equivalent / or better |
| Memory | 16 GB RAM |
As you can see, it’s not the most detailed set of system requirements we’ve ever seen! But these are the basic specifications laid out in the Wildcard Discord server.
The game is only in alpha testing (as of writing), so these requirements are liable to be updated in the future.
Even a standard PC rig or gaming laptop should have no problem running Wildcard. Let us know how you get on, and also, head to the Insider Gaming forum to discuss your time with Wildcard. Does it capture a certain niche missing in multiplayer gaming?
