If you followed BlizzCon 2026, you would have seen many unbelievable announcements. World of Warcraft: Forever was arguably the pick of the bunch, and not only did Blizzard reveal the game was coming, but also announced an imminent beta almost immediately.
The time has come to play the World of Warcraft: Forever beta.
How Do I Get a World of Warcraft: Forever Beta Code?
Pre-order the full game, sign up for the beta scheme, look out for codes on social media, or, if you’re in Australia, use McDonald’s points to cash in to get a World of Warcraft: Forever beta code.
Beta Opt-In
Head to the World of Warcraft: Forever website and sign up for the beta. This is completely free of charge, shouldn’t take up much of your time, and if you’re successful, you’ll be in without having to do anything else. The minor caveat is that there is no certainty or guarantee with this method.

Here’s how to sign up:
- Click on the World of Warcraft: Forever page.
- Press the Beta Opt-In button.
- Choose Request Beta Access.
- Sign in to your Battle.Net account, or make one if you don’t have one.
- Once you’re opted in, you should receive this message: ‘Thanks for opting in! If selected, you’ll receive an email from us.’
As the beta is lasting a while, you should eventually get yourself a code to enter.
Pre-Order World of Warcraft: Forever
You must pre-order one of the Skyborne Epic Pack or Warcraft Forever Collection to ensure you get a beta code. The Skyborne Heroic Pack DOES NOT count toward beta eligibility, and you’ll have to use any of the other methods to access the beta.
Use Battle.Net to purchase either edition. Here are the prices of each:

Social Media Scouting
If you scour X or other popular social media websites, you’ll find content creators and pages offering the chance to win a free World of Warcraft: Forever beta code. Don’t buy any or fall for potential scams, but look for trusted accounts that might have a spare.
McDonald’s
Easily the most niche option here applies to Australian residents. YouTube channel Adragerty shared that you can redeem a World of Warcraft: Forever Beta in exchange for 1,000 McDonald’s points using the official App.
If you’re partial to a Big Mac, you might be able to put those loyalty points to good use!
When Does the World of Warcraft: Forever Beta End?
The World of Warcraft: Forever beta started on September 17, 2026, and will be playable every day until October 21, 2026.
Before World of Warcraft: Forever goes live in November, the game is undergoing a month-long beta. You have plenty of time to get involved, with multiple methods to get in.
