In Chapter 6 Season 3, Darth Vader returns to Fortnite, this time donning a samurai outfit. Here is everything you need to know about taking down the iconic Star Wars villain.
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3, Galactic Battle, features an extensive collaboration with Star Wars. This includes a new Battle Pass with Poe Dameron and Emperor Palpatine outfits, and an overhauled map that introduces new weapons, such as Lightsabers and Force Abilities.
Additionally, the update adds new vehicles like Rebel X-Wings and Imperial Tie Fighters. And just like the previous Star Wars event, players can face off against Darth Vader.
How to Find & Kill Samurai Vader
As the name suggests, Samurai Vader is located in Vader’s Samurai Solitude in the bottom left corner of the map.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to take him out.
- Land at Vader’s Samuari Solitude.
- Vader can be found in the open; his health bar will appear at the top of your screen while you are in the POI.
- Find a blaster and get on top of a roof.
- Fire from a distance and take down Vader.
- After eliminating Vader, enter the portal and get a Lightsaber.
Eliminating Darth Vader isn’t the challenging part. As long as you keep your distance and avoid getting sucked in by him using the force, or getting jumped on, his health bar gets depleted fast.
The real challenge is avoiding shots from NPC Stormtrooper guards and real enemies. From my experience, Samurai Solitude is a hot drop, and it was rare for there not to be at least four or five other enemies landing at the POI.
There were even several instances where I would take out Vader or try to, just for an enemy to come in at the last moment and steal the spoils. Thankfully, once you get the Lightsaber, it’s easy to use the weapon to take out every enemy and NPC at the POI.
However, even when you get the Lightsaber, you aren’t safe because players can take you out and steal it right after you get the weapon.
With that in mind, the best course of action is to let other players do all the work and swoop in at the end to steal the lightsaber.
