Fortnite is enduring a Galactic Battle this season, with Star Wars taking over the island, and there are a bunch of Force Abilities for you to weaponize.
Force Abilities are a must-have in Fortnite this season, especially as they are tied directly to you. While an enemy can take your Lightsaber if they eliminate you, they won’t be able to utilize any Force Abilities you have.
We’ve got the details on every Force Ability in Fortnite this season and how to get them.
All Fortnite Star Wars Force Abilities in Chapter 6 Season 3

There are three Force Abilities in Fortnite at the start of the season, with two additional Force Abilities being added later this season, resulting in a total of five.
Each has a different way to obtain it, although the general gist is familiar. For the majority, keep an eye out for red or blue holograms on the map, which signal a Force Ability is available to learn—which also provides a Lightsaber to use.
Force Abilities can only be used while wielding a Lightsaber, so don’t drop them for another weapon!
How to Get Force Push
The Force Push ability in Fortnite is earned by interacting with a Rey hologram, also providing a Blue Lightsaber to use.
There is no specific location for the Rey hologram to appear, so keep your eyes peeled while looting and fighting enemy players for a blue beacon appearing on the map.
How to Get Force Lightning
The Force Lightning ability is earned by interacting with an Emperor Palpatine hologram, which also provides a Red Lightsaber to wield and crush your enemies with.
Similarly to the Rey hologram, there’s no set location for an Emperor Palpatine hologram to appear—just keep an eye on your mini-map for a red beacon signalling the location.
How to Get Force Saber Throw
The Force Saber Throw ability is earned by defeating Darth Vader Samurai at Vader Samurai’s Solitude, which also provides a Red Lightsaber that is different to the one provided by Emperor Palpatine.
As there is only one Darth Vader Samurai boss each match, only one player can wield the Force Saber Throw ability, so expect to face a battle if you venture to Vader Samurai’s Solitude.
How to Get Force Pull
The Force Pull ability is claimed by interacting with the Mace Windu hologram, which provides a Purple Lightsaber, but only after the weekly update on May 8.
Fortnite’s Star Wars season is split into several sections, with each week providing additional content, and the first update introduces two new Force Abilities to claim.
How to Get Force Throw
The Force Throw ability is earned by interacting with the Darth Maul hologram, granting a Red Lightsaber, but only after the weekly update drops on May 8.
Before this date, Darth Maul won’t appear as a hologram on the map, and the Force Throw ability isn’t in the loot pool. However, as it allows you to throw any object around you on the map, it’s definitely worth the wait!
