Star Wars takes center stage in the latest Fortnite season, and there are plenty of Stormtroopers to eliminate, which provides some decent loot and a chunk of experience.
The Galactic Battle mini-season for Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 provides plenty of new weapons and skins to enjoy, but if you want to live out your true rebel fantasy, eliminating Stormtroopers is a must.
We’re here to tell you exactly where you can find those pesky bucketheads and how to eliminate them in style to take one step closer to your Light Alignment.
Where to Find Stormtroopers in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3
Stormtroopers are found in specific spawn locations this season, often in groups of two or three. Therefore, to complete the challenge for eliminating five, you need to visit two of these spots.
I found the bridge outside of Pumped Power to be a good location to complete this quest, as it had a decent amount of loot but not many other players competing for it, and there’s another location with Stormtroopers further north above Magic Mosses.
If you want the best loot while taking out Stormtroopers, head to the First Order Base, where Captain Phasma is waiting, or Vader Samurai’s Solitude, where Darth Vader himself lurks. While the bosses are the big threats, there are also a few Stormtroopers to take out.
How to Eliminate Stormtroopers in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3
Though it may sound pretty simple, the quest to eliminate Stormtroopers did not progress for me until I manually tracked the quest from the quests menu, though I’m not sure if this was a bug. To be on the safe side, I recommend doing the same and following these steps:
- Track the Eliminate five Stormtroopers quest.
- Go to an area with Stormtroopers—Pumped Power is my favorite spot!
- Eliminate the Stormtroopers—use Thermal Imploders to earn progress towards the weekly challenge.
- Head to another location with Stormtroopers.
- Eliminate the Stormtroopers, which should take you to five and complete the challenge.
Stormtroopers will be downed until you eliminate the entire squad nearby, usually two or three in total, and the elimination won’t count until they’re wiped out entirely.
Though you can shoot them while they’re down, it’s easier to just focus your attention on their friends nearby.
