Flying an X-Wing in real life is the dream for many of us. We have to settle for video games for now, and Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 allows us to fly an X-Wing, allowing us to zip around the map and take out Tie Fighters.
Getting introduced to the Star Wars universe for the first time is awe-inspiring and surreal. The first time a lightsaber’s Kyber crystal shoots out and illuminates the room, the audio of Darth Vader’s iconic breathing, and of course, the universe’s endless supply of marvelous and memorable ship designs.
The X-Wing is up there with the Millennium Falcon for me. If you feel as strongly about them as I do, let’s show you where to get one in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3.
How to Get an X-Wing in Fortnite

We’ve found two locations for X-Wings in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 3: Sitting out in the open at the Outpost Enclave and tucked away in the Resistance Base.
Outpost Enclave
This Chapter 6, Season 3 POI is located in the very Southeastern part of the map. It’s south of the Kappa Kappa Factory and east of Masked Meadows.
This is very far, far away (I had to), and requires a good bus jump to reach quickly. But once you get to the Outpost Enclave, you can find an X-Wing in the southwestern part of the POI.
It’s sitting out in the open on a building’s roof, facing directly toward the sea—you should be able to miss it! If it’s not there when you get there, chances are someone else has already taken it.
Be quick, you must.

Resistance Base
Another good spot to find an X-Wing is the Resistance Base. Again, we’ve provided a screenshot below of its location.
This one is on a launch pad, and it’s also out in the open, just waiting for any Jedi-in-training to come along and command it.
Head to our marker on the map, and hope you’re first.

What do X-Wings do in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3?
X-Wings are currently used to move around the Fortnite map quicker, help you avoid enemies, kill enemies, and take on other players using vehicles.
The biggest detail here is the addition of aerial dogfights in Fortnite. Along with the X-Wings are classic Imperial Tie Fighters. To give yourself a higher chance of survival, it might be best to seek shelter and comfort in an X-Wing.
I sincerely hope you have as much fun riding around in an X-Wing as I did. You can find more Star Wars vehicle aficionados courtesy of the Insider Gaming forum. Plenty of discussions are happening here daily.
