In a post on social media, user PlayStation Game Size revealed that the complete download size of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6 will be a whopping 210 GB. Insider Gaming can corroborate this information.
This makes Grand Theft Auto 6 one of the largest games ever made, by base file size. It’s about what everyone was expecting, but it’s sure to clog up networks worldwide when preloading starts on November 12.
GTA 6 Install Size is Insane
We all knew GTA 6 would be a big game. The screenshots and videos we’ve seen thus far have portrayed a gargantuan open world packed to the brim with activities and side content, along with what could be the densest story the franchise has ever seen.
In a recent post on social media, PlayStation Game Size, a popular datamining profile, revealed the install size for GTA 6 at the time of writing:
I say at the time of writing because things are always subject to change. Until it’s safely installed on your console, things could shift, and assuming there’s a day-one patch, even when the clock strikes midnight, you might be left downloading something additional.
In the recent GTA 6 space, we saw the actor rumored to be playing Lucia Caminos, Manni Perez, appearing on a livestream and tactfully dodging questions about the upcoming game. However, she was offering some coy glances to the camera that set social media ablaze with claims that she was surreptitiously confirming what everyone believes.
