Xbox CEO Asha Sharma has announced during the Xbox Showcase that Gears of War E-Day will be an Xbox console exclusive, marking the beginning of the publisher’s return to exclusives.
At the time of writing, no more games have been announced to be Xbox console exclusive, but the move marks what could be the beginning of Xbox returning to more exclusive titles.

Gears of War E-Day releases October 6, 2026 for the Xbox Series S|X and PC.
