Fortnite’s Star Wars Droid Tycoon Confirms a Terrifying New Addition

Star Wars Droid Tycoon has set the Fortnite world ablaze, setting new concurrent player records with a recent event, and the developers have confirmed a new addition is right around the corner.

Droid Tycoon attracted over 100,000 concurrent players during the limited-time BB-8 event at the weekend, introducing the first Mythic Droid into the game, and the next addition has now been confirmed.

Mister Bones Coming to Droid Tycoon

Teasers had already indicated that Mister Bones was coming to Droid Tycoon and, following the conclusion of the BB-8 event, the developers confirmed a future arrival with a post on social media, warning that “this next droid doesn’t do cute beeps.”

Mister Bones can now be found on the Droid Tycoon map, by the destroyed AT-AT, and the Droidex shows Mister Bones will be the next Mythic Droid added to the game, expanding the roster of available Droids even further.

Full details on exactly how Mister Bones will be obtained, and whether it will only be available through another limited-time event, remain to be seen, but it’s a further indication of the expansion content planned for Droid Tycoon.

The game currently caters to a maximum rebirth level of 20, requiring trillions of Credits to access, but more end-game content is planned, and a mysterious tease near the Cantina has been speculated to be a ‘Super Rebirth’ feature, though this is not confirmed.

Developer FOADZone have stated some plans on social media, including rewards for reaching Rebirth level 20, ‘fun surprises’ over the next few weeks, updates to Astromech missions, and more.
