Fortnite’s annual Halloween event, Fortnitemares, is on the horizon, and Epic Games has shared key art revealing a slew of huge collabs set to feature in this year’s showcase event.
Epic Games already revealed a huge collab with Five Nights at Freddy’s, a crossover Fortnite fans have been clamouring for in recent years, but there are even more big names set to be included.
Slenderman, Jason Krueger Coming to Fortnite
Key art shared on social media reveals a host of recognisable collabs, with standouts including Freddy Krueger from Nightmare on Elm Street, Slenderman, and The Purge.
Freddy Krueger is in a prominent position on the key art, with Slenderman lurking behind, while the opposite side shows a skin referencing The Purge.
Japanese Manga Black Clover is also identifiable in the artwork, along with a gravestone referencing Beetlejuice, which Jonesy is seen hiding behind.
New Sprites are also set to feature, with the Vampire Sprite and Pumpkin Sprite added to the loot pool, and there’s likely to be even more major reveals in the days ahead before Fortnitemares kicks off later this week.
The event will also likely see previous Fortnitemares collabs returning to the Item Store for purchase, with the likes of Saw, Friday the 13th, and Poppy’s Playtime among those that could reappear.
Fortnitemares kicks off on October 1, sparking the start of a month-long event before the move into the final season of Chapter 7 in November.
