Fortnite Crew Is Adding Disney+ As Subscription Perk

Fortnite’s close relationship with Disney is set to yield another significant perk for those with a Fortnite Crew subscription, as Disney+ will soon be included.

Epic Games‘ close ties with Disney are well-documented, with the latter investing heavily into the developer, and fans have been treated to a slew of collabs, with the latest drop including fresh Star Wars content into LEGO Fortnite Odyssey and Fortnite Creative, including highly-popular maps like Droid Tycoon.

Away from the gaming side of things, however, a significant addition is on the horizon, as Disney+ will be included as a membership perk.

Disney+ Being Added to Fortnite Crew

The reliable HypeX states on Twitter that Fortnite Crew will soon include Disney+, with a text string uncovered in the files that states: “Confirm your Epic user and redeem your Crew Benefit from Disney Plus.”

It’s unclear whether the perk will be the ad-free version of Disney+, or the cheaper tier that includes ads, and more details are set to arrive soon.

The news is even more significant for XBOX Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, who receive Fortnite Crew as part of that membership, which in turn means that Disney+ subscription is also likely to be included.

However, the perk won’t be exclusive for those on XBOX, and looks set to be offered to those with a Fortnite Crew subscription on all platforms, as the deal is with Epic Games.

Full details of the deal are yet to be revealed, but there could be more news on the horizon with Fortnite set for a big couple of weeks, bringing the curtain down on the current season and launching into Chapter 7, Season 3.
