A new video has arrived with Football Manager 27’s release date, highlighting improved crowds, stadiums, and dynamic cutscenes that bring the football theatre experience to players. A wider range of crowd models has been included that now react dynamically according to the match situation; they also vary according to the region and climate. Bigger matches feature even more intense crowds, with flags adding more color to the mix.

The video also covers the weather, with the time of year reflecting more clearly on the pitch and the surrounding environment. There’s a new time-of-day system where players will see the position of the sun change across the 90 minutes, casting shadows on the stadium, surrounding environment, and players. The 3D grass and improved VFX system will help the pitch look wetter on a rainy day or let players move through a layer of snow on a cold winter day.
Lastly, player models have more athletic body types and increased muscle definition, and their hair moves more naturally when sprinting. Details about enhancements to player movement and upgrades to the match engine will be shared later.
