EA Sports FC 27 gameplay will not be changing anytime soon, as developers want to give it time to settle.
One of the world’s most popular sports titles, EA Sports FC 27 has now been released globally for all players, and the developers have already released the first update. In their latest communication, the developers share what they are seeing from the community and their current plans for FC 27’s gameplay, Ultimate Team, Career, and The Grounds & Clubs.
EA FC 27 Devs Aren’t Considering Changes to Core Gameplay Balance
In a new post on EA FC 27’s official Discord, the developers said gameplay isn’t changing right now. The devs feel like the experience needs more time to settle in, and they are “not currently considering changes to core gameplay balance.” At the same time, they’ll address bugs and unintended behaviors, such as the Custom Controls issue causing incorrect inputs, which was fixed in the latest update.
About Ultimate Team, the developers have seen a strong initial response to the gallery and the tuning changes, including increased use of the Transfer Market. The developers are still monitoring how the tuning changes affect player time and Squad Battles difficulty, while identifying quality-of-life improvements across new features. There’s one already on the way: “Streamlined SBCs on Companion.”

FC 27 developers are also seeing the community chatter about Dynamic OVR and Stamina and how these features impact the experience across a season. The developers are also working on areas including player demands, Transfer Market behavior, and more.
Lastly, for The Grounds and Clubs, the developers have acknowledged feedback on Kickabouts queue times, Winner Stays, and Win Streaks, and are working on it. More observations about the game will be shared next week, and the devs will follow up on these updates with dedicated Q&As for Career, Gameplay, The Grounds & Clubs, and Ultimate Team.
