PlayStation has confirmed that Crimson Moon will release on September 1, 2026.
A new announcement on the PlayStation Blog reveals Crimson Moon’s September release date. Players were also provided with more details on the game’s two-player co-op, the deluxe edition content, and a PlayStation exclusive reward that players can claim upon purchase. Crimson Moon’s Every Hunt Can Be Played Through Two-Player Online Co-Op
Apart from the release date, Crimson Moon developers, Probably Monsters, shared some details on the game’s co-op features. It was revealed that each hunt will dynamically scale based on whether one person is playing or two, making sure that the challenge remains the same. Additionally, players share a communal life pool where one can revive the other; however, each death brings the team closer to failure.
Crimson Moon Game Edition Details and Pricing
Crimson Moon will release in two editions, Standard and Deluxe. The Standard Edition costs $19.99 and only provides the base game, and the Deluxe Edition costs $29.99 and brings some additional content. In Deluxe Editions, players will be provided with a Ceremonial Armor Set, the Axe of the Gods (a guitar-shaped axe worthy of any legendary Nephilim), and access to the post-launch content expansion.
Crimson Moon PlayStation 5 Exclusive Content Details
Purchasing Crimson Moon on the PS5 will provide players with some exclusive content. Whether you buy the standard or deluxe edition, you will be rewarded with the exclusive Sonai Magistrate Armor Set at launch. Additionally, on the PS5 Pro, the game can take advantage of the native support for upgraded PSSR.
