Following a whole bunch of feedback, Rebel Wolves have confirmed that Blood of Dawnwalker will have a 60 FPS Performance Mode on launch day, September 3.
For those unaware, the developers posted a video last week showcasing the console performance of Blood of Dawnwalker, and it took everyone by surprise. The video said the maximum frame rate they were providing was 40 FPS, even on the PS5 Pro, which was definitely a concern. Thankfully, the devs have now confirmed that 60 FPS will be there on release day.
Blood of Dawnwalker Confirms 60 FPS Mode Following Feedback
A new post on X (formerly Twitter) by the official Blood of Dawnwalker account confirms the 60 FPS Performance mode for consoles. The developers clarified that players were only informed about what they were confident they could deliver at launch. Performance mode was still in testing, so the developers didn’t mention it in the console performance video.
However, after many fans raised their voices about how big a concern it was for them, the developers understood and focused on bringing performance mode to consoles in the next round of tests. After that, they now have the confidence to promise Performance mode on Day 1 for Dawnwalker.
Blood of Dawnwalker is being developed by Rebel Wolves and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It releases on September 3 for PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X/S, and PC.
