The latest financial report from Remedy Entertainment reveals that Control has surpassed 6 million copies sold, and the development of the sequel is going steadily.
Control Resonant is the next big title that is coming from the hands of Remedy Entertainment, and the title is set to release in Q2 2026. The developers have informed players of some details about the upcoming title ahead of release, but more information is coming soon, with Remedy ramping up marketing.
Remedy Games Portfolio Performing Steadily in Q1 2026
The overall game portfolio of Remedy Entertainment has performed well in Q1 2026, with stronger publishing performance on Control, royalties from Alan Wake 2, and revenue accruals from FBC: Firebreak. Control has been performing well thanks to interest in the upcoming sequel and its easy entry point into the series. The developers also confirmed that “Control has sold over 6 million lifetime copies.”
Remedy Ongoing Project Status Revealed
The financial report also confirms that Control Resonant’s development is on track and that the developers will ramp up marketing activities soon. The report added that “marketing activities and related spend will significantly intensify prior to the launch of the game.” Players were also informed about all the projects they have been developing and their progress, with Control Resonant in full production, Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake in full production, and a new unannounced project in a proof-of-concept stage.
