ARC Raiders Regional Pricing Starts Rolling Out Today

Embark Studios has announced that it will implement regional pricing for ARC Raiders from today.

ARC Raiders seems to be experiencing a slightly rough time at the moment, with negative reviews piling up since the latest Riven Tides update. However, their latest decision will help bring the game back in favor of players in some regions, with prices adjusting to current economic trends.

ARC Raiders Announces Regional Pricing to ‘Ensure Fair Pricing Across the Globe’

A new announcement on the game’s Discord reveals that ARC Raiders will begin implementing regional pricing starting today, May 4. The developers have stated that some users will notice pricing changes today, and they will continue rolling out these changes to ensure their regional pricing aligns with current economic trends and remains fair across the globe. The exact pricing changes across different regions weren’t revealed.

When developers implement regional pricing, they adjust the cost of their game based on the customer’s geographic location, economic conditions, and purchasing power, rather than directly converting currency.

For those unaware of the previous Riven Tides update, the developers introduced a brand new map, a new enemy, minor map conditions, items, events, a new Raider project, and cosmetics. Read about all the new content here.
