Forza Horizon 6 Has Gone Gold Two Weeks Ahead of Release

Playground Games has announced that Forza Horizon 6 has gone gold, leaving ample time for launch.

Forza Horizon 6 developers have been periodically revealing new details about the upcoming title as we wait for its launch. Just last week, we saw them inform players about the upcoming title’s multiplayer modes. Now, the team has announced an update on the title’s final development progress, as well as radio and accessibility details.

Forza Horizon 6 Hits Gold Status

Playground Games announced Forza Horizon 6’s Gold Status through a new post on X (formerly Twitter). For those unaware, when a game goes gold, it essentially means that the final product is ready for production. The developers announced this update along with new information on the game’s radio stations, accessibility features, and more.

Forza Horizon 6 Radio and Accessibility Features

Starting with Radio, the developers have announced that FH6 will feature the largest number of tracks yet in the series, with 9 radio stations, electronic anthems, energizing drum & bass, feel-good electropop, heavy-hitting rock, alternative indie, hip-hop beats, nostalgic synthwave, and modern classical music featured. Check out all the stations below:

  • Horizon Pulse
  • Horizon Bass Arena
  • Horizon Block Party
  • Horizon XS
  • Hospital Records
  • Gacha City Radio
  • Sub Pop Records
  • Horizon Wave
  • Horizon Opus

Regarding Forza Horizon 6’s accessibility, the game will include features such as AutoDrive, Proximity Radar to help identify cars in blind spots, and a high-contrast mode that helps distinguish objects more easily. Players will also see returning features such as full controller remapping, screen-reading narration, subtitles, adjustable camera field-of-view options on PC, color-blind filters, Offline Game Speed modification, and our full set of difficulty settings and driving assists.

Post-launch, players will see the addition of American Sign Language (ASL) and British Sign Language (BSL) for cinematics, with a picture-in-picture display of an ASL or BSL narrator.

In other news, a new report states that Forza Horizon 6’s pre-launch sales on Steam have already surpassed 500,000 copies. Additionally, here are all the details on game editions and pre-order bonuses. What are your thoughts on Forza Horizon 6 going gold?
