Halo 2 And 3 Remakes ‘Development Underway,’ It’s Claimed

We’ve known for some time that Halo Studios might not be content to just bring you Halo: Campaign Evolved, and a new report suggests Halo 2 and Halo 3 Remakes are not only happening, but they’re being made as we speak.

Boy, the Halo Remake timeline has been wild. There was talk of Halo Studios planning to remake the original trilogy, and then Halo 2 and 3 Campaign Remake news swiftly entered the conversation.

In 2026, it seems development is coming along big time.

When the Halo: Combat Evolved Remake was officially announced, it was a huge deal. Yes, there’s no multiplayer, and yes, there are Remake Changes, but it’s going to be great to revisit a classic.

You can’t help but shift focus toward the rumored Halo 2 and 3 remakes, though.

According to Rebs Gaming, Halo: Combat Evolved Campaign prequel mission details have surfaced, and the insider has now opened up on Halo 2 and Halo 3:

‘In a previous video report, I revealed that a former Halo Studios developer confirmed to me that the studio is remaking the Halo trilogy. Since then, I’ve recieved confirmation from two more sources that Halo Studios is developing remakes of Halo 2 and Halo 3.

One of my new sources has sent me proof to verify themself and that the trilogy remakes are definitely happening, regardless of how well Campaign Evolved does. More specifically, active development is underway on all three remakes, and the Halo 2 and Halo 3 remakes are in early development.

This is an extension of the previous details, and it means that if the reports are accurate, we are going to get all three original Halo games remade in stunning detail.
